So, I'm still writing this new book for NaNoWriMo, and just hit the halfway point. If I can keep up a 2K/ day pace, I'll be at the 50K finish line by the 25th or so, but going from the other books I've written, I think its length is about 65-70K. That is, of course, bad juju in the eyes of Chris Baty, founder of the NaNoWriMo movement, but I'm sure he'll get over it. Then again, he's published a book, and I've... well, I'm almost to the point where I could publish a novella consisting of my query letters and rejection slips.
On other fronts, over halfway done with a scarf I'm knitting and trying to figure out how to do another one for myself. It's strangely relaxing, and I've been catching up on the immense audio library we've amassed... seventy or eighty downloaded books from Audible.Com at last count.
More later. A month into my treatment, and the medication is finally affecting me. Haven't decided if that's a good thing yet.
