Well, today was supposed to be a day off, since I really really needed the break. And so far it has been, since I did get to sleep in. I also got to clean my kitchen and my bathrooms, and sometime after I run (three miles today... short one) I have to do laundry, and since I still don't have machines here and still don't have a working car, that means that I get to walk two big-ass bags up to the laundromat. That's all in addition to the four hours of business writing (editing and query-letter writing) that I promised myself.
On the bright side, I e-mailed a query letter yesterday evening, and I'm going to e-mail another one today to an agent that does not mind simultaneous submissions. I'll hear from them or not within two weeks and then I can either send them the damn thing or find somebody else.
Didn't do much else last night... read Rainbows End, and nearly finished. It's alright... I think it might have made a better story (which is why I really like the author's short stories) but the book still has some neat ideas. Going through Little Dorritt as well.
Crap, the garbage collectors are here and I forgot to put my stuff out. Ah well... Guess that's one good thing about going to work... I usually remember that on my way out the door.
