longOkay, back finally. Let's see... last week, I was busy as hell at work, finished the book I was reading, started another one, worked on a couple query letters, went to the doctor about my foot and got cleared to run if I took a week off (that week ends today so I can run tomorrow) and helped open up the Rhode Island Special Olympics by sitting on the main stage and saying the opening prayer. I'd never done anything like that... usually, one of the chaplains will do that kind of thing, but none of them were available, so they asked me (the Taoist Jewish guy) to do it. Oh, and I bought another kite (I'd been having a lot of trouble flying my stunt kite out here) and spent Sunday afternoon on the beach and Sunday evening flying in the winds leading off of a storm.
Saturday, I just did a lot of introspection and decided that controlling my manic-depression via exercise and diet and no meds just ain't working any more. In other words, I had a small breakdown, but I'm better now.
More later... catching up on everything I'd neglected over the week.
