Well, the bright thing that I have to post is that paths4byzantium and I went to see Water Fire in Providence last night. Crowded as hell but still pretty good. I'll post pictures when I have them.
In other news, busy this weekend as my boss is retiring and I'm one of the prime organizers of his ceremony. I hate to see him go but glad when all this will be over. Have had little to no personal time the last week, and I don't see it getting any better any time soon.
Going to try to get in a run this evening... maybe six miles or so, no timers, nothing but me and the road. Need that very badly right now.
Proust is still Proust. Nearly finished with my fourth reading of Swann's Way as a percursor to what will hopefully be my second full reading of the book. It's better every time you read it, it really is. Although, I think that only people who've slogged through all three-friggin-thousand words of the novel will ever realize just how good it can be, and those who actually decide to read it a second time will realize just how incredible it is. The bad thing is that I can fully see myself reading it a third time and maybe even more. It's that addictive.
